CBC is reporting that Stephen Harper will speak this evening.
That being said, today has been a very sad and tragic day. I feel nothing but sympathy for the fallen soldier's family, and nothing but gratitude for the first responders in this city that did a wonderful job today. Despite what some media outsets say, my feeling is that Ottawans do not feel terrorized, but rather they feel sadness, anger, sorrow and gratitude. The impact of what happened today has been felt very far, and I feel it could be a defining moment for our country.
