As a ex service member, Anytime there is a death of anyone in uniform it hits me and anyone else from that community hard, especially in a heinous attack like that.

There will be little that can be said to provide comfort to the victims family and friend. Canada has been changed a little bit with the death of two soldiers being murdered on their own homeland. Its one thing to send a Soldier over seas to die, its an expectation of everyone in that community that death in war and peace in a faraway land is a possible fate. But to die at home in violent and cowardly attacks is another thing. These are our protectors, these are the brave who are willing to make the ultimate sacrifice, they deserve our respect at the very least and our admiration.

RIP
