My SO got one from the Bay and it wasn't a bad price. Delivery was a little bit of a pain as they were super booked up for some odd reason (took almost 4 weeks) and the mattresses were at the warehouse and not the actual location so we couldn't pick it up ourselves.

I bought from Novosbed (online only). Highly recommended to look into them if you want memory foam bed for cheaper. They ship you a box barely bigger than the size of a laundry basket (air completely squeezed out). Then you remove it from the bag and let it sit for a few hours for it to "reinflate". I had mine sent to my house and instructed them to leave it outside my door. I could have probably sent it to my work place and just tossed it into my car if necessary. Send it back for free if you're not happy with it. They will pick up and deflate for you I think.

Bed box... are a bit more difficult to transport. I can load a queen size mattress into a van, but not a double sized bed box if this illustration helps.

And in all seriousness, you're being hosed hardcore if you are not getting at least 50%-60% off at sleep country. There's even forums about how to get the price down. No need to be a master at lying (though it helps to expedite the process) or negotiation. My SO and I literally sat on a bed we liked and chatted about random stuff (life, love, entertainment systems, sports, whatever) for an hour and just said stuff like, "We like it, but it's out of our budget" for an hour to the salesmen. They knocked the price down 50% on their own, but I hear you can reach up to 70% off at sleep country. If they ask you to try a lower model in the right price range, just do the same and when they approach say, "Hmm... I like the original one better." and after 5-10 mins, wander back to the original bed you want. The bed we were targetting was like $2200 original price and it got down to $1150 with no bed box but still with free delivery (bed box is worth $50 to them, but it's much more than that if you try and buy it later). They'll try to play with stuff like delivery etc, but just be adamant on a number around 60-70% off for the whole set (other forums will explain it more). I never made it to my goal of $1000 (mattress + bed box) so I walked. Novosbed was way cheaper for a memory foam. Paid $800 for a queen with no bed box I think and it arrived in a week or so.

A bed box is useful. I thought I was going to grab a random one on my own afterwards... I never did due to pain in the ass delivery. Get the annoyance out in one go if you can. Likely, you will have to find a way to have someone there to watch over the delivery on the delivery date unless you're ok with then just leaving it on a driveway or front door or something.
