Looking at CapGeek Brodie's salary is broken down as
2015/16 - $3.9M
16/17 - $4.8375M
17/18 - $4.8375M
18/19 - "
19/20 - "
with a cap hit of $4.650M per year

The thing about this contract besides the first year nod to Giordano is that it doesn't rise as the years go on and sets us up for his next contract. This way if he gets say $6M on his next contract it will be a raise whereas if this contract ended at $6M and he wanted and deserved a raise the contract would need to start above the $6M mark.
