For the 1st time since 1993 when the Jays won the world series, they had 5 players named to the AL all-star team today.
Wells
Halladay
Ryan
Glaus
Rios
Rios won't be able to play due to injury, but 5 guys named to the team is better than New York and Boston who each had 4 players. John Gibbons will also help coach the team.
Very good representation this year from Toronto. I would expect either Wells or Glaus will take part in the Homerun derby as well.
