Forces the other teams to do homework on not just one, but two solid goalies or even gives Hartley the chance to play one or the other based on which teams the flames are playing. Of course there is every chance that Ramo/Hiller could have an off night but we wont be giving any games away based on the fact we had to play a backup.

It might also be that they are each playing well precisely because they are alternating. If Hiller faces that many shots EVERY game there's no way he sustains his performance
