Bad first perion, great second, meh third. Bit of a conflicted feeling.
On one hand it's nice to see that we can get a comfortable win with a decisively average effort. On the other hand, it's a bit worrying to not see more consistent effort out of this team. Can't argue with the results so far, but the coaches have their work cut out for them.
Raymond is really growing on me. I can understand why he's never really left a strong memory, as there's something low-key about him, but he seems to be everything this team needed. Speed, skill, work ethic, scoring. Great signing.
Nice to see Gaudreau have a good game.
Wideman is slow, but otherwise I think he had another okay game. Better than start of season certainly.
Diaz was absolutely horrible.
Setoguchi was hustling. Not seeing how he's going to score any though. Good thing he's cheap.
Glencross should shoot more. It's what he's good at. Passing, not so much.
Love Hiller again.
To me it seems like Monahan is somewhat searching for his game. He's not terrible, but his offensive play doesn't seem to be quite there. I hope he figures it out, we need depth.
Just noticed that Backlund has played the most minutes of any Flames forward so far. Nice.
I thought Stajan had a pretty good game.
