Its one thing if the ball gets lost in a pile with no conclusive video evidence until someone emerges, but in this case, he had it on the ground with full control....pretty much like Bowman did last year, which is why they changed the rule.

but you didn't have conclusive proof that it was a Seattle player who had final possession, it was still loose between his legs. I did not see a camera angle that showed a seattle player with full control of the ball - which would mean it would go to the call on the field.
don't forget that unlike usual - the ref actually carried the ball out of the scrum - it wasn't a seattle or rams player - so he would know where the ball came from.
Either way - should of been reviewed
