Mine did not disclose any kind of protection or requirement to use the power on non guardians. I am not night protected. We have not done a second test to see if the eternals powers actually work.
My one post on guardian / Eternal win conditions and then I am back to posting on scum as I feel that speculation on the guardian / eternal problems is detrimental to the town. Mazrim has said that this is not a ####### game. This means that allignments cannot change during the game. So this leaves the guardian / eternal leader as the only ones who could have some kind of different win condition. Now in theory the game could end when there is only a majority of guardians or eternals left but to me that seems like poor game design. The light are supposed to have until they are outnumberd to still win the game. This random event in my opinion would be a ####### type event.
So what are we left with. My working theory is that the guardian / eternal are either town or mafia alligned and giving out powers. They have the survivior role where they win if they survive. In this case they win if they survive and recruit the most people. Anything else that could happen would fall into a ####### type game which we have been told it isnt. Therefore I do not think that the win condition of the guardian/eternals is in conflict with that of the town.
