Rathji the way I read it is Timbo targets Bob, the doctor protects Bob so Timbo is also protected. Timbo targets Bob, mafia night kill Bob so Timbo is also killed. In the cop case I guess whoever his target was got investigated by the cop so Timbo was also investigated.
