Great first episode. But TWD does have a decent track record with season openers, the very first episode of all the best episode of the series in my books. We'll see if they can maintain it this season. By the looks of the trailer though, I'm optimistic for this season.
My only complaint is they wrapped up the whole Terminus thing so quickly. There was some great creepines there and it all got explained almost as an afterthought. Real interesting how they were a good group that lost their morals. But I guess that's better than then stretching it too long ala farm or prison. And as a few peopke have mentioned, we may yet see more of the backstory.
Oh also, I was never too worried for the main characters. A death from a non extra woulda gone a long way to add some real fear. But it was still pretty cool.
Yeah, Carol has been one of my favorite characters since early on, and she just gets better.
The whole 'this guy had a cure' thing bugs me a little. He doesn't seem to be the type of guy who would or could. Not to mention, his explanation seems to be something other people would know about and have tried already. He's basically just talking about a delivery system (which others know about in his own words). Unless I'm wrong, he seems to be missing the biggest part. An actual modified gene or cure to implement. The whole 'with a few modifications' seems like lazy writing to me. Oh well, I'll go with it.
And goody for Morgan! I almost missed that tease at the end. Using the FF on the PVR and all, thinking the show had ended.
So someone refresh my memory, how did Carol and Tyrese know about Terminus and that their pals we're captured? I totally forgot about that part. I don't image they escaped, especially with Judith.
