In 83-84, the Jets were 16th of 21 teams.
84-85: 16th
85-86: 13th
86-87: 14th
87-88: 18th
88-89: 18th of 19 (Hockeydb is missing Chicago and NJ - both were likely ahead)
89-90: 19th
The Jets were almost always bottom third of the league, and the apathy increased as the calendar flipped toward the 90s.
