Delgar is fair that was my bad. But if someone tells me they are voting for Photon because October 13, 1994 was a full moon and I found out that October 13, 1994 was a waxing gibbous, I'm going to be suspicious of them... GP_Matt I don't think I'm getting fair representation. He didn't want to say that he was blackmailed into losing a power by joining the Eternals, despite saying he was afraid of losing his power for joining the Eternals. I can't believe I am getting blame for the GP_Matt thing when everyone was involved....
But you are right about CBL, and last time I was town as well. So let me give you the benefit of the doubt and say, like CBL, I am wrong about you.
So under the assumption that you are town and you do reveal your partner, depending on who we lynch tonight we could go into the night phase with 15 players and the mafia knowing (this relies on some other people telling the truth as well which could easily be lies but the mafia would know):
ECF (Doctor)
Wood (Vig)
Starseed (MOT)
Starseed's Partner (MOT)
GGG (Unlynchable)
Squiggs96 (blocker of blockers?)
Mafia Member 1
Mafia Member 2
Mafia Member 3
Mafia Member 4?
Mafia Member 5?
But that's even before powers. They could have their own role cop ability, own investigator ability, own surveillance ability.
So they could know that, for just examples don't read into it, that Drury18 didn't target anyone one night, he's obviously not the cop. They could know that Mrkajz44 targetted Starseed and is still going after him, so he's not the cop. They could straight up know that Hockeyguy15 is a bus driver.
They may believe Rathji didn't target anyone the first night because of the redirect discussion, they could believe that Puxlut isn't the cop because of what she said. (They could be wrong on this of course). Etc. etc. etc.
There's a (little) possibility they might find out the cop just by you revealing who your partner is Starseed.
ECF doesn't get the same advantage, he could target a mafia member even if he gets his block off.
So there's a more than decent possibility that the cop dies before he can reveal anything about you starseed.
If the cop lives, they could have the power to make you (or your partner) show up as mafia (
this was a power in the first game), they could redirect all abilities from you (or your partner) to someone else, again not giving us the information. They could prevent the scan or find out who the cop is by seeing who targeted you (or your partner).
So even if you are town, I see a ton of downside in that plan.
