I remember testing the dogfood for the Xbox One OS where we started testing sans Kinect to make sure stuff wasn't broken.
Always online - Was required initially, programmed out before launch due to public pressure.
No Problems getting games to 1080p - Forza didn't have any problem. Developers not getting their games to 1080p is their own problem. PS4 has a few games under 1080p as well, so what?
DX 12 giving a big boost to performance - DX12 hasn't been released yet; it's literally a year away. I don't see how this is even relevant.

Reading your post, pot meet kettle. I mean, I'm honestly not sure what your point is. Things like Xbox not working without Kinect or being always online are
software controlled, and if you change the software, you can change those requirements. What, were you expecting that it was a physical, on-chip limitation? Do you think if something isn't working or getting the desired results that it shouldn't be changed?
As already stated, there is nothing from a technical perspective that keeps the consoles from hitting 4K resolutions. I don't own a 4K TV so it really doesn't matter to me. I'm just calling out your falsehoods and BS arguments.
