On a slightly more serious note, if true, this strategy would undoubtedly backfire. Think of all the people that they had already publicly insulted. I am pretty sure those same people will be ready to apply again just for the heck of it.
Human Rights tribunals are no joke. No matter how ridiculous the accusation is, any employer that had to go through a human rights complaint and a follow-up investigation even if it didn't reach a hearing, knows better than be that stupid.
