I dont mean it as a negative either, it simply is what it is. This team's talent is currently playing in New York or lying on the treatment table.
The Flames were in this game from the first minute until almost the very last minute through sheer grit and determination.
This is pretty much my expectation level of the team, they're likely going to be a bottom 5 team this year, and I expect them to win fewer games than last year for the reasons I bolded by IntenseFan.
Its just all part of a patient and cautious rebuilding process.
