Surprised at the love for Backlunds game tonight, I thought he was terrible. The worse forward for the Flames tonight. Directly responsible for the Kassian goal with his soft clear and he was making soft plays all night long.

Mind you, I understand that this was his second game this season so it's understandable but he's going to have to pick things up fast.

Wideman was terrible on the Backend. Would like to see Diaz in his place tomorrow.

Love Grats but if the oil aren't dressing a heavy tomorrow, Jones should take his spot.

Would like to see Setoguchi in too but not sure who he would replace. Will need Bollig in if Grats is out.

The sequence after the empty net goal illustrated to me all that is wrong with the players we've had here prior and why we need Guys like Johnny and Sam contributing soon. After the goal Johnny takes the puck and immediately rushes up ice and attacks the net splitting two defenders and getting a quality scoring chance. Then the puck goes the other way and the Flames not named Johnny Gaudreau play keep away in their own zone to kill off the final minute!?!? Can we see some passion and assertiveness please? Can we have more than one a couple of guys who try?
