That's the thing. He was grounded and the perfect player for Toronto. The more I think of it, he was almost an ambassador the the club.
As a player, I don't believe a thing from people saying he's going to be a star, because plain and simple, he was good, but when it came to basketball knowledge, he totally lacked it. How many times was he caught out of position and watched everyone around him move. He's just not aware of plays going on around him or where things are headed. Solid otherwise, no doubt, but I really do hope T.J Ford is as grounded as him because as a hockey town, I think Toronto needs to see better charactered players rather than the Iverson-types who lack class.
