While I agree with Resolute, doesn't really seem like something the Flames would manipulate (or maybe that's not what Resolute is saying, don't want to interpret his post wrong).
I would suggest that injuries maybe helping the Flames out in not having to waive or send someone down in the short term to get Bennett his 9 game cup of NHL coffee.
But you say "for what" as though the 9 game peek Bennett will get has no benefit to him if he's not going to stick. I'd say that's likely not the case, getting a little taste will probably serve his development well, even if he is bound for the OHL for the rest of the season.
