Exactly, this is NHL hockey going on right now. The uncontested best league in the world. The drafting and development part of my fandom sort of turns off in October, don't ****ing tell me the next 7 months don't matter. If you're a fan worrying about McDavid now, you're doing hockey wrong.

Not that I agree with the Colborne statement, but would that not be the opposite of earning your spot? Being given one because the other options were lesser players? I thought Blair Jones outperformed Colborne when it started, but since Colborne was young and newly acquired and considered part of the fresh new faces of the rebuild nobody had a problem with it. 'Sink or swim' was the attitute with Colborne
