It's blatantly obvious that the Flames are tanking for McDavid or Eichel. It is Brian Burke's master plan and if it works...everyone will be beyond ecstatic.

Our roster is filled with plugs and there are a lot of expiring contracts. Come next year...I expect a lot more young guys to make the team.

I just request the CP community to quit being in denial that we are not tanking....yes...we really are tanking....and its OK!

As a STH, I dont spend $8,000 every year to watch these plugs play that arent even a part of the future of this team....but I understand the reasoning for it and if we end up with McDavid or Eichel.....well it will be well worth the sacrifice 5 years down the road.

Management is just doing smart business and saying all the right things while doing whatever they want in the end.....relax...thats OK too! Getting McDavid or Eichel is in our best interests...


Setoguchi is not an NHL player...and Bollig was also outplayed by our young guys. Add on the fact that Toronto didnt re-sign Mason Raymond who is as streaky as they come.....I couldn't believe more fans didnt catch on to this planned tanking.

You think Murray Edwards, billionaire owner and one of the best business minds is going to sit around and let his team not try and get a generational player like a Connor McDavid....you're out to lunch....do you know how much revenue that one kid alone will make for this club?
