No, I made my opinion from watching him in Abbotsford. As a prospect he had fallen behind Granlund,
Wotherspoon, Ortio and Reinhart and that was just in Abbotsford. He couldn't win a puck battle against
AHL opposition and not only didn't win the battles but had the bad habit of turning his back leaving him
open to being driven into the boards. He seems to have fixed this problem and now only needs to get his
scoring touch back.
As for being misused by trying him out at RW, that was a good move as that would be where the big team
needs the most help. Too bad it didn't work.
as an afterthought, I can't wait for Detroit to miss the playoffs so people will shut up about the Wings and
how they do things. We aren't Detroit.
