I wish that places would reply to emails promptly as well, but I have always had better luck just calling them.
FYI - they are apparently taking appointments for after October 21st, but that's not unusual for any tire shop at this time of year, I don't think.

I dropped in to Kal Tire at Northhill today to ask about getting a tire patched. They offered me Wednesday due to being busy, a lot to do with winter tires. For me it was just a tire patch so went to Canadian Tire on 64th and had it done inside a half hour.
