Bad hit by Backlund. I know Id be screaming bloody blue murder if that kind of hit was on any of the Flames players. Should at the very least be reviewed by the NHL.
On a similar note, Stajan took two..TWO hits to the head tonight. And the refs played equalizer on those calls. The last one the Flames got the PP but Backund got shipped off on a 10 minute misconduct (for apparently getting bounced around by two Jets).
And the first one I think the Flames ended up on a 4 on 4 because they sent Stajan off on a coincidental minor.
