His size seems like an advantage. If he really works on keeping his head up, which he probably does, it's unlikely anything but a really dirty hit gets him. His reaction time and lateral movement is about as fast as anyone I've ever seen. He moves right and by the time the d-man has moved in the same direction he's already changed direction and gone around the other side.

You can see the opposing defense sometimes don't know what to do when he has the puck because he's almost unhittable as he can move sideways so quickly whereas bigger players take seemingly twice as long sometimes. He's fast for 160 pounds even, the advantage of his speed is visible on the ice. I'm not worried about his weight, I'm worried about a dirty hit behind the play or a hit from behind charge but that will hurt anyone
