He had 11 votes and multiple votes waiting to hammer him. If he's not concerned then, when will he be?
So I see a couple reasons:
1) He misread how close he was to death.
2) He's part of the mafia and had mafioso voting for him who he knew were going to remove their votes regardless.
3) Eternals were able to protect him, either through powers or through personnel changing their votes.
4) He's lying about not being concerned and didn't disclose information about the Eternals because he's no longer town aligned.

I agree with all your reasons except for #2. when the vote was at 11 you have no control if someone decided to slam down the hammer vote look what happened with RatherDashing. That is living to close to the edge IMO. No way would you play it that risky.
Somethings fishy there no doubt. I'm not advocating his innocence I am just trying to avoid a catastrophic loss like we had last night. We cant afford it.
