I can't remember what happened right before and Hartley subbed in McGrattan at the last second. I get they wanna defend the small guys but why goon it up with 5 minutes to go when you're up 4-1? stupid IMO, in a regular season game against a good team, taking that many penalties at the end could have easily ruined the game for them. I don't blame the refs, it was pretty obvious what Hartley was trying to do. The refs aren't gonna let that fly too often nowadays all's well end's well I guess

I completely disagree about the mcgrattan insertion. Guys were taking liberties with Sven, gaudreau, and colborne out of frustration. In any game and especially a preseason game... You send out mcgrattan in response. Sending a message like that is way more important than maintaining the 3 goal lead with 3 minutes to go. Frankly, I was disappointed the muscle wasn't used more often for that during the preseason as Corrado never had to pay for what he did to gaudreau in the young stars tourney.
