Little Macs MOT thoughts
I think the MOTs are the twins who can talk to each other like wood and UCB in game one. Post 29 in the chat I think is revealing. The MOTs don't have any extra info YET. My guess is they will have the power to talk to the dead. As they mentioned they have other minor powers.
I am a little suspicious of alignment though. If they are townies as they say then what is the point of them posting suspicions? They could just do it in the thread. The only way this makes sense is if they have special powers. If they are dark then it is great opportunity to send the town astray as their suspicions can't be traced back to them. The third possibility is they are the watchers of this game and on our side and Mazrim gave them the power to get involved. Until the MOTs state they have good info to back the suspicions I don't think they are any more relavent then any in thread accusation. I do have a theory really just a guess on who they are if they are in game town but I don't think we should pursue identifying them if they can assist the town.
One thing to make sure is that if you are around at lynch keep refreshing and copy and paste the chat. Also at least two people should do it so their isn't any misrepresentation going on.
Little Macs Guardian and Eternals thoughts
Starseed is now a member of the guardians. GP is a member of the eternals. See first post. Prior to the guardian showing up I was thinking the eternals would be able to talk to the MOTs after death to continue to provide their thoughts now that their is a second group I have the following questions I would like answered by Starseed at GP Matt. Be careful in answering any or all of my questions if you think it would hurt us but also know at this point I am almost ready to lynch one of you to see a flip.
1) have your victory conditions changed
2) did you gain any cool powers (probably don't answer)
3) did you choose to join or were you forced
4) can GP and Starseed talk to each other outside the thread
I couple of ideas
1) just flavour like the post like the sham wow guy in the other game. In this case it's a scum / townie power to offer or force enrolment to this group to cast suspicion. With 2 groups now I think this is the likely scenario. 1 townie and 1 scum building each group out of all the players. If these groups can talk within themselves it will create an interesting dynamic as they will be a mix of mafia and townies in each group. In this case some time during the day the second eternal will be revealed and be able to chat with GP.
2) cult recruitment - even if the people recruited victory conditions don't change the leaders might have their own victory conditions. This is not likely as it would be a very unbalanced game that the two cult leaders would duke it out to win with no one else having a chance. So I think we should ignore this idea because we have already lost if true.
Any other ideas?
So I think we should ignore the whole eternals and guardians thing and until we know more get back to our primary goal of hunting scum. Right now the chaos and distraction all of this is causing is a benefit to the mafia. And any of these events shouldn't unbalance the game to make it unwinnable for either side. Therefore we should be very careful with how much weight we put on things designed to cause chaos. The message posted in the card flip I think supports this philosophy. If you go back to the first game there was a player who could write messages into the card flip. In this case it appears that someone is using that power to cast suspicion on the eternals, the action was probably submitted before Starseed became a guardian at 1:40 yesterday.
I think before we get back into scum hunting we should more or less agree on how to treat these chaos causing events.
What do the rest of you think? Sorry about the wall of text.
