Hiller was lights out the other night in his 28 save shutout behind a pretty average d corps. I get biases towards certain players but blindly discounting the actions of their direct competition is crazy.
Both Ramo and Hiller are poised to BOTH provide stellar goaltending this season.
I don't believe either will be labeled as a back up this year. Just 1a and 1a. They're going to push each other hard . and the Flames will benefit greatly.
Although I did say in this very thread that Hiller will be #1. Its a tight competition, but Hillers allowed less goals.
