Yes it's really her. I have a friend who has her on her friends list from years ago and was showing me her stupid remarks for a long time, well before current events. This is the first time the west has ever really heard about her though. I wasn't following HK politics at the time and didn't get what the big deal was until now. Now the connection clicks.
