That must be the nature of the breed. My buddy had the same breed and that described his dog as well. Always getting himself into trouble, but loved everybody in his "pack" so much. So hard to get mad at the guy when he did stuff he wasn't supposed to.
It was actually because of my friend's dog that I got my dog; and that I decided to go with a rescue as opposed to getting a puppy. I know it's small comfort, but it's quite likely that Hank's nature may have also ended up resulting in better lives for other dogs.
