The only people who get to decide if using Native American imagery in sports is offensive is native Americans. If they say it is, it is.

If a bunch of Trojans show up to picket Aberhart and USC, then the name Trojans is offensive.

It's like how black people get to decide when and how the n word can be used and by whom.
