Next years 1st isn't automatically going to contribute to a logjam either. I figure that if we draft 3rd or 4th (probably at least as likely as 1st or 2nd)it'll be Hanifin or Kylington... both d-men and we definetly don't have any sort of logjam at defense. And if by some circumstance we draft lower then that it's more likely that whomever it is goes back to their developmental league.

I wouldn't want 5 rookies making the team at once. There needs to be a steady influx of 2 or 3 rookies so they can be protected or you end up with a situation like up north.
