Nah, Next year we'll have Setoguchi, McGrattan, Glencross, and Byron dropping off the books and I would presume that Hudler will be shopped this year as well. That's five spots on forward. Backlund and Brodie extensions + a free agent upgrade on the blueline eat up the money that we need to spend to reach the floor and we're good.
Next years 1st isn't automatically going to contribute to a logjam either. I figure that if we draft 3rd or 4th (probably at least as likely as 1st or 2nd)it'll be Hanifin or Kylington... both d-men and we definetly don't have any sort of logjam at defense. And if by some circumstance we draft lower then that it's more likely that whomever it is goes back to their developmental league.
