Again, being irate about something doesn't prevent someone from also being irate about something else. Any of the reasonable reasons for him not wanting to sit next to someone probably would have resulted in him acting like a reasonable person, which he didn't. Instead he acted like a total dick, so it's more likely that the guy is just a dick.

If this video was "guy won't let girl sit next to him on bus because of bag" and he was just sitting there ignoring her, I almost guarantee this would have nowhere near the reaction it does now. Because he also acted like a completely inconsiderate, rude, dbag ... here we are.
