Treliving wasn't really saying anything groundbreaking as it's pretty common with any young player who was the key guy to look a little "lost" at times without the puck. As he learns the system, and learns when to take the smart risk he'll become a better player.
As fans we see a kid all over the ice trying to make things happen. And it's exciting. However coaches watch the games and see potential breakdowns that better players will be able to exploit.
