Plenty of reasons to send him back to the OHL, but I don't think that should be one of them

I guess I may have overstated saying the main reason. Bottom line for me is Sam Bennett will be better served developing in the OHL and once is. This is still a rebuilding year so there is no need to rush him. There can be more harm to his development keeping him up then if he was sent down. At this time next year he will be just a couple months older then Monahan when he broke in as a rookie.
