I'm glad Ramo's responded to the challenge of Hiller and Ortio pushing for his spot. I think he's going to have a really good year based on how he ended things last year and how things are going so far this year. Hiller should be a good backup, and Ortio will almost definitely be ready for the NHL next year. It's nice that we actually have some real depth in goal for the first time possibly in franchise history. I can't think of the last time we had 3 goaltenders that could play in the NHL competently and steal you a game.

I agree Ramo's been solid, but I've yet to see enough consistency from Ortio to put him in the category of competent NHL goaltender. Hiller remains a question mark for me until he's shown more in a Flames uniform, but his preseason has been disappointing so far. Our goaltending is still far from solid IMHO.
