I will offer my seat on public transit to someone who is elderly; with mobility issues or otherwise disabled; pregnant; or with a stroller and has a child in tow, however I don't think that I would automatically give up my seat just because someone has a uterus. I don't think that I have ever seen that with the possible exception of a white knight bus driver who told a paying customer to give up his seat for a lady. This isn't 1912 and it is not the sinking of the Titanic. I believe that it is absolutely ridiculous to give up a seat on public transit based on the ideals that women are more deserving of a seat. There are plenty of times when I have given up a seat or offered to at the very least, but XX sex chromosomes are not one of the reasons.
