I agree and in my younger days I would have acted similarly. Today, I don't know what the most effective thing to do would be. Maybe the guy moves his bag because of a physical threat, maybe he says "Move me." Then you hit him. Then we see a headline titled "Redneck assaults Leprechaun on bus, trying to steal his LuckyCharms." with pictures of you included.

We live in a society if a person doesn't do any favors for you, and don't get what we want, they're automatically labelled an rude, inconsiderate #######.
Maybe your point of view comes as a non-user of transit? Taking up an extra seat is rude and inconsiderate among other things. Then to not give up your seat when asked politely? Thats not just rude, thats being an a##. Thats being entitled that somehow your bag or feet or your fat a## are better than another transit rider.

The lady was having a bad day. She clearly stated that herself. I see her comment as an attempt to insult the individual, if anything harmful at all. Right or wrong, some men will still give up a seat for a woman. The man in front of the leprechaun did give up his seat for her. (Thats a discussion for another thread. Maybe the RIP YLYL sexism discussion?)

Maybe you don't know what entitled means or maybe you share the leprechaun's mentality. I don't really see where your point of view is coming form.
