Bennett was awesome - even though the Flames lost it was worth going to the game just to watch him. He made something happen just about every time he was on the ice.

Also thought Ferland was very good. He isn't afraid to play a gritty game and showed some skill as well. Monahan looked good. Gio and Brodie were both great as well, even if their timing was a little off. Even with all the SOG the Flames had tonight it often seemed like they couldn't hit the broad side of a barn. At least they're not afraid to shoot.

Diaz wasn't great. I was definitely expecting more from him. Wideman was freaking dreadful. Jones and Setoguchi were both pretty brutal, which was disappointing. A lot of people seem to be high on Sven's play but honestly I thought he looked disengaged at times and was still too soft on the puck. The whole team looked pretty disjointed at times - they came out strong in the first period but faded in the 2nd, and the 3rd was kind of like a Chinese fire drill.

Hiller wasn't exactly lights-out tonight either. He seems to have a lot of trouble with sharp-angled shots.
