Our office is pretty relaxed except when the HR person starts slamming doors, and having hissey fits. Yes the HR person. Because it is OK to tell inappropriate jokes or speak loudly when she is involved. But if she's not...........
But really in any office environment you need to be aware of other people, everyone will feel differently about these topics so you do have to respect all of them.
