My wife and I had the discussion last night about what we would each do if we won a ridiculous amount of money. Say something like 30-35 million in the 6/49. Now besides the obvious buy a new house/pay off mortgage/buy new car stuff, what would everyone do?
Myself: I'd pay the Flames 5 million (tops) to dress me for one game. Let me practise and be a part of the team for one week, dress for a game and be on the ice for the opening faceoff. As soon as the puck is dropped, I'd come to the bench and work the gate for the rest of the game. Thats all I'd want. My 5 seconds of fame. What I wouldn't tell the Flames is that I'd take a penalty so i could tell people I got on the scoresheet.
My Wife: Well, since her family is all from Winnipeg and she has spent a lot of time there, I guess I can't blame her for being a huge Guess Who fan. She said she'd hire them to play at her birthday. Pretty good idea I thought.
What would you guys do?
Oh and PS, I'd buy seasons tickets and a house in Calgary and commute for the games from Ontario!
