So a question for the phone enthusiasts in here:
I think I'm going to look at grabbing a new phone soon (I'm currently on the Samsung Galaxy S3). This phone actually does far more than I need it to but the one thing Ive always found lacking, compared to my old Iphone 3GS -- music playback. I've tried a variety of music player apps, and none of them do gapless playback, and options for headphones with controls seem to be really limited. I tend to use my smartphone as an Ipod becuase I walk to and from work every day, but its a PITA to take the phone out of my pocket whenever I want to change tracks or take a call.
Are the newer android phones any better as music players, or is it still an afterthought? The biggest draw for me to go back to Iphone is its also a full fledged Ipod with all the benefits. Which is unfortunate, becuase I think for most other features I actually prefer android.
