It's unfortunate the Leafs have Bernier, who will be a top NHL goalie for years to come to try to get ice-time from.

Its pretty common to see goalies that see more shots have a higher save percentage than those that get less. However, in general even strength save percentage is unaffected by the number of shots against, and GAA and penalty kill save percentage is what changes with team quality.
