Wow, Jets... really?
Short Term - Habs, highly unlikely of course, but right now they appear to be the closest although losing Gorges is going to hurt. Not a contender, but a red hot Price and Subban can take you far.
Mid Term - Why not Ottawa, some solid but under the radar moves, not much talk or hype, but quietly gathering assets. Sure, Dallas robbed them of Spezza, but I like the potential of their blueline.
Long Term - Calgary perhaps, or Ottawa again?
Jets are going nowhere and doing nothing. Cheveldayoff (sp?) actually needs to improve the team in order to you know, improve the team.
Edmonton is fail, always.
Vancouver, does not have the goods right now, and too far away from a rebuild to compete mid - long term.
