It's not just about prospects. Rielly is 20, Gardiner, 24, Kessel, 26. JVR 25, Bernier 26, Kadri 23. There's a lot of youth on that team not "Prospects" but are at, or yet to hit their primes.
Calgary simply isn't close to the Leafs in talent.
