He does fit a need that we have, especially if we do start to lose LW's like Baertschi and Gaudreau to callup's to NHL or if Hanowski ends up being a full time NHL Flame.
Klimchuk would have to go back to juniors if he doesn't make the big club. His 5 games at 15 don't count as a season. The cut-off is 25 games.

In order to make the 4 seasons without being 20 one would have to have been granted exceptional status at 15 to play in the CHL. Those guys pretty much all go to the NHL before 19 so it's something that bascially just doesn't happen.

Spezza is the only I can think of that spent time in the AHL at 19 after 4 years in junior.
