He plays a well needed position in the Flames system. He's a RW that shoots R. We don't have many dedicated RW prospects (Hanowski is the only one right now that can play in the AHL), and we have few R shots.

He does fit a need that we have, especially if we do start to lose LW's like Baertschi and Gaudreau to callup's to NHL or if Hanowski ends up being a full time NHL Flame.
