This is what U.S. soccer had to say in that article. So, she did something wrong but she's a good player trying to set a record, so we'll let it go.
First time I've heard of this case, and of course the NFL players are in the spotlight more because the NFL is a much higher profile league. It is wrong and inexcusable, she should not be playing.
